Do you accept health insurance?

Yes, Achieve Improved Motion participates with most of the major health insurance carriers. We also offer affordable and cost-effective treatment plans to minimize out-of-pocket costs for patients. Office visits will be based on a comprehensive fee schedule and not based on a fee-for-service like traditional health plans. Cash, check, major credit cards, and HSA/FSA cards are acceptable forms of payment.

Do I need a doctor’s referral before seeing a chiropractor?

A medical referral is not required prior to seeking care from a chiropractor. In the State of Connecticut, chiropractors are classified as physician-level status doctors and can perform a comprehensive initial physical examination. Chiropractors also have the authority to order and interpret radiographic studies such as X-Ray, CT, MRI, as well as blood and urine laboratory tests which enables them to manage cases from their inception to the conclusion of care.
