Dr. Michael A. Simeoli

Dr. Simeoli received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the University of Bridgeport (UB) and graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors. He is recognized as a chiropractic physician through the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) after passing parts I, II, III, IV, and PT sections. He is registered as a licensed chiropractor within the State of Connecticut and is a member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) and the Connecticut Chiropractic Association (CCA). Mike has also successfully completed the FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine further enhancing his knowledge of soccer-related injuries and sports rehabilitation.
Dr. Simeoli is also a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He currently works as the Director of Program Development and Operations for Jim Ronai’s Competitive Edge. His coaching resume includes training athletes at the high school and collegiate level, return to play programming, and group fitness classes. He completed his undergraduate studies at Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU), where he received a Bachelors of Science in Exercise Physiology. During his undergraduate studies, Dr. Simeoli served as the President of the Exercise Science club and studied biomechanics, sports psychology, and nutrition. He has always been an advocate for pursuing further education, especially in the realm of sports medicine and strength & conditioning.
During his graduate studies at UB, he participated in the Human Performance Lab and completed various clinical rotations to gain as much experience as he could about diagnoses and treatment approaches for a variety of conditions. As part of the Human Performance Lab, he attended the Pro Football Hall of Fame Academy in Canton, Ohio to conduct sports science testing for the nation's top ranked high school football players. Dr. Simeoli also completed a 10-week clinical rotation at the United States Dept. of Veteran Affairs hospital in Newington, CT. During his time at the VA, he worked with United States military veterans and learned how to operate in a multi-disciplinary setting and manage more complex, multi-faceted conditions. Other clinical experiences include working at the University of Bridgeport Health Sciences center, where he worked with the general public caring for a diverse patient population in Bridgeport, CT.
Some of Dr. Simeoli’s hobbies include playing soccer, cycling, snowboarding, and hiking. He enjoys traveling with his wife and walking along the beach with his two dogs. Dr. Simeoli enjoys reading the latest research on new therapies and techniques and attending national conferences and professional seminars so that he can continue to deliver the highest quality of care possible to his patients.
Dr. Ryan Pegolo

Dr. Pegolo received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the University of Bridgeport (UB) graduating with Cum Laude honors. He completed the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) parts I, II, III, IV, and PT, becoming recognized as a chiropractic physician. He is currently licensed and registered as a chiropractor in the State of Connecticut. Ryan is also certified in dry needling therapy and completed his training through the Integrated Dry Needling Institute.
Dr. Pegolo is also a certified and licensed Athletic Trainer (AT) through the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers (BOC). He completed his undergraduate studies at Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU) earning his Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. He has worked as an Athletic Trainer for North Haven High School and Quinnipiac Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine, providing medical care for high school, collegiate, and interscholastic sports teams. He is a certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist certification (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and has worked as a strength coach for Jim Ronai’s Competitive Edge designing and coaching individual, team, and return-to-play programs.
While attending graduate school at UB, Dr. Pegolo was an active member of the sports council, rehabilitation club, forward thinking chiropractic alliance club, and the human performance lab. In the human performance lab, he was trained in evaluating gait via motion analysis, and evaluating athletes for biomechanical deficiencies. While applying for various clinical rotations, Dr. Pegolo was chosen for a 10-week clinical rotation in the United States Dept. of Veterans Affairs hospital in Newington CT. He learned and gained valuable experience in co-managing patients in a multi-disciplinary setting along with diagnosing and treating complex clinical cases for veterans.
He is an active member of the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), Forward Thinking Chiropractic Alliance (FTCA), National Athletic Training Association (NATA), and National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA). He enjoys outdoor activities like hiking, backpack, fishing, paddle-boarding, exercising, and spending time with his family and friends.
